Program
Pushpanjali

Pushpanjali is a traditional invocatory opening item of an Arangetram. "Pushpam" means flowers and "Anjali" means offering with folded hands. The dancers offer flowers to Lord Nataraja, the Lord of Dance and seeks the blessings from the Gurus, the accompanying artists, and family and the audience for a successful performance. This Pushpanjail is dedicated to Lord Ganesha, the remover of obstacles. The dancers praise him with shlokas - a prayer, and seeks his blessings at the start of the program.

Thank You

We, our parents and Gurus would like to thank each and every one of you for attending the Arangetram and making it a memorable occasion for us. We sincerely appreciate your blessings and support. We also thank you for supporting our charity of choice.

Special thanks to Shubanjali School of Performing Arts. It is a pioneering non-profit art organization whose mission is to encourage excellence in the practice of Bharatanatyam and Indian Folk dance in the US and around the world. Over the years, Guru Suba Parmar has evolved a rigorous methodology that inspires students to develop a deeper understanding of this art. The school has won many laurels in competitions nationally and has produced many promising dancers.
